Our professionals have specialized studies in competition and intellectual property law. In addition, members of our team have served as officers at the Peruvian competition and intellectual property agency, the telecommunications regulatory agency (OSIPTEL), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the World Bank (WB), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Andean Court of Justice. We are actively involved in providing legal opinions to national and international corporations, as well as governmental and non-governmental organizations. We also are actively involved litigating in the most important antitrust (including leniency and compliance programs), unfair competition, bureaucratic barriers, dumping and subsidies cases in Peru and the Andean Community. Our practice also involves regulatory, advertising and marketing law, consumer protection, data privacy and life sciences. Finally, we have a strong practice in all fields of Intellectual Property law. Luis Diez Canseco Núñez

Has been a Fulbright and Hubert H. Humphrey Scholarship. Dean of the Law School of the Universidad Tecnológica del Perú (UTP). Robert Venero Peralta
Lawyer Degree by the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). Has Master´s studies in Public Utilities, Regulation and Infrastructure Management from the Universidad del Pacífico (UP). Professor at the UP Graduate School. Professor at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM) and the Universidad Científica del Sur law schools. He was Legal Coordinator at the Competition Tribunal (INDECOPI) and Senior Lawyer at the Dumping and Subsidies Commission (INDECOPI). Juli Gutierrez Zanelli
Lawyer Degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). Holds a Master Degree in in European Union Law awarded by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain. Has studies of National and Federal Law at the City University of New York (CUNY). Worked as Advisor at the Justice Commission of the Peruvian Congress and at the Commission of Unfair Competition of INDECOPI. In 2008 she joined the international lawyers program of one of the most important law firms in Beijing, China. Awarded with a scholarship granted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Beijing, China. Director at the Peruvian Chamber of Commerce of China (CAPECHI) until 2018. Partner at Estudio Muñiz as Director of the International Department for Intellectual Property Area. Carlos Beraún Mac Long
Lawyer degree by the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM). He holds a Master Degree on Science (Msc) in Comparative Law, Economics and Finance awarded by the International University College of Turin (IUC), Italy. Also holds a Diploma in Regulation and Competition Law from the Universidad de Valladolid, Spain and studies at the Master in Intellectual Property and Competition Law (PUCP). Professor in Consumer Protection Law and Public Utilities at the Universidad San Martin de Porres. He was Legal Coordinator in the Competition Tribunal, as well as analyst in the Consumer Protection Commission and in the Consumer Protection Tribunal (INDECOPI). He was a Senior Lawyer in the legal department of Ripley Group, where he was in charge of the legal counsel in consumer protection and unfair competition law procedures.
María Ángela Sasaki Otani
Lawyer by the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). Postgraduate studies at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina and the Universidad Andina Simón Bolivar, Quito, Ecuador, obtaining the Highest Diploma in "Regional Integration" and a Master in "International Economic Law". In Germany, she was a fellow of the Freie Universität Berlin and the Max Planck Institute for International Law and Comparative Law. She completed the Doctorate Program in International Law and International Relations at the Universidad Ortega y Gasset, Madrid, España. She holds a PhD from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, España. She worked at the Peruvian Trademark Office (INDECOPI) as well as in the Andean Court of Justice. She is a registered researcher at the National Council for Science and Technology and Technological Innovations (CONCYTEC) of Peru. Member of the "Ibero-American Network of Judges and Prosecutors of Intellectual Property" and of the "International Network of Jurists for American Integration" (Mexico). She is a professor of the Master of International Economic Law at the PUCP and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Peru.
Janny Lopez Acosta
Lawyer by the Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega (IGV). Holds a Master in Business Law by the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). Participated in the Plant Variaties course organized by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Gimcheon, Republic of Korea. Also participated in the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) training program organized by the Instituto Nacional de la Propiedad Industrial (INAPI), Santiago de Chile. Has taken courses of Intellectual Property Management, the UPOV System for the Protection of Plan Varieties, as well as Patents organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Worked at the Special Chamber for Intellectual Property of the Peruvian Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (INDECOPI) as well as in the Inventions and New Technologies Office of INDECOPI. She has also worked as part of the Peruvian Magistrates team at the Andean Tribunal of Justice, Quito, Ecuador.

Lawyer by the Universidad de Lima, specialized in Intellectual Property, Competition Law and Consumer Protection. Has been an Associate in the Intellectual Property and Competition Law Area of Casahierro Abogados. Has worked at the Technical Secretariat of the Specialized Chamber for Defense of Competition of the INDECOPI, Peruvian Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (INDECOPI); thus having experience in both the public and private sectors. Has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Association ADV Editores.
Yhohanna Valladares Rojas
Pharmaceutical Chemist by the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM). Attending currently the Master in Intellectual Property with mention in Pharmaceutical Law by the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH). Obtained the International Certificate for Medicine Evaluation Dossiers by the UNMSM. Worked at the Peruvian pharmaceutical administration, the Dirección General de Medicamentos, Insumos y Drogas (DIGEMID). Has worked at the regulatory area for AC FARMA Laboratories, as well as in companies such as Food Solutions Group and Droguería La Victoria. Her specialization areas are sanitary regulation of pharmaceutical establishments and pharmaceutical products, medical devices, cosmetics, sanitary products, foods and beverages.
María Lyliana Ongaro De Vettori
Bachelor in Law by the Lima University (UL). Study emphasis in unfair competition and the law of advertising. Exchange studies at the University of Salamanca, Spain. Has worked at the Unfair Competition Commission of INDECOPI, as well as in the areas of trial and regulatory law of Estudio Payet, Rey, Cauvi, Pérez Abogados, which provided her with relevant experience in the private and public sectors.
